{"id":6921,"date":"2017-05-15T11:02:52","date_gmt":"2017-05-15T09:02:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pina.si\/en\/?p=6921"},"modified":"2017-05-17T10:22:51","modified_gmt":"2017-05-17T08:22:51","slug":"an-italian-girl-outside-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/stara.pina.si\/en\/an-italian-girl-outside-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"AN ITALIAN GIRL OUTSIDE ITALY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>I\u2019m Gabriella<\/strong>, I am 29 years old, and I come from Rome \u2018Caput Mundi\u2019 \u2013 one of those places you can love or hate but don\u2019t leave you indifferent \u2013 where there is so much culture, well, but I wanted to test\u00a0myself in a different environment and, why not, trying to know myself better in order to grow up and trying to become a more aware person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I have a humanistic education<\/strong> and my passions concern art, music, literature, photography, ecology, travel and I can say that I like to approach things intuitively&#8230; I\u2019m looking for things I cannot see right away, I like to discover them step by step and this &#8211; I think &#8211; is exactly the feeling you get entering into the EVS project, in a different way; starting something new\u00a0in another country and sharing the perspectives with participants from other places and new ways of thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Above all, I believe in a mobility with <strong>the aim of training, experiencing<\/strong> other cultures or artistic practices. And Slovenia &#8211; a country with a complicated history and a new emerging economy, with a great wealth landscape &#8211; seemed to me a good place to experience all of this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My EVS project will last six months<\/strong> and in this period I hope to learn many new things. I would like to learn how to make a project of social inclusion, for example, or to increase knowledge on multiculturalism; also I would like to improve digital skills, speak English fluently\u00a0and learn about the\u00a0Slovenian culture (and a little bit of the Slovenian language, too!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019ve chosen PiNA because<\/strong> I care the issues promoted by the organisation &#8211; like human rights, culture, active citizenship, women empowerment, sustainable development, respect for the environment &#8211; and concerned in the framework of the non-formal education, with a holistic approach, perhaps thanks to multimedia tools. It\u2019s an interesting way to interact with stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moreover, I believe in the synergy<\/strong> and in a dialogue between the various local, national and international development from different backgrounds.<\/p>\n<div class='ctx-module-container ctx_default_placement ctx-clearfix'><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"ctx-article-root\"><!-- --><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When I told my parents and my friends that I wanted to get an experience out of Italy, they told me \u201cWhere are you going?
