In youth work, new tools are constantly needed in order to keep up with fast global changes, support youth’s participation in society, active citizenship and to prevent new forms of social exclusion.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Historically, youth workers have been keen to absorb the new trends but with the new digital tools, collaborative methods, humour techniques, new art forms etc. the know-how of how to use these innovative approaches is not easy to get and even when some youth workers have this know-how, it’s not easily mainstreamed.
This is why youth organisations needs to enhance the knowledge on creative use of digital and social methods in youth work.
Following the specific objectives of the project are: 1) capacitate youth workers in digitalization and in social innovation 2) test new approaches with young people in a co-creative manner 3) evaluate, adapt and spread the tools wider in the European youth work community.
Methology used in the project: ICT tools: Realtimeboard, Google Docs, Skype, Slack, WhatsApp, Video Tutorials, Podcasts, Digital Storytelling and other tools: Dragon Dreaming, Design Thinking, Gamification, Humour Techniques, Art of Hosting, Visualisation Techniques, Photovoice.
