PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF MINORITY AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES AND VALORISATION OF MULTIETHNIC CULTURAL HERITAGE
Slovenian Istria is historically associated with different cultures. In addition to the constitutionally recognised Italian national community, many other ethnic communities live here, among which the most numerous national minorities are the ones from former Yugoslavia. The project aims to enhance the employability of ethnic communities and immigrants in the valorisation field and multiethnic cultural heritage to enhance their social inclusion through raising awareness about the genesis of heterogeneous cultural identity of the area.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
Employment of the Project Coordinator – member of the target group.
The aim of the project is to develop a training, through which the participants will acquire practical and theoretical knowledge about sustainable cultural and creative tourism, which in itself preserves the cultural diversity of the area and the dialogue between cultures. They will be trained about the integration of heritage and contemporary creativity, and will thereby create a participatory and inclusive cultural offer.
Development and implementation of workshops for raising managerial, technical and administrative competence in culture.
Final tourist – cultural event.
