PROMOTING INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE, ADVOCACY AND THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS.
Expert associate in the field of Minority and Human Rights programme, within which she coordinates projects, aimed at promoting intercultural dialogue, social and cultural integration of immigrants and ethnic communities, advocacy of their rights, minority valorisation of cultural heritage in the Slovenian society and the use of the principles of intercultural dialogue in international relations.

Dijana has a MA in History. At the time of study, she was a member of ISHA (The International Students of History Association). Scientific research of the perception of Bosnia and Herzegovina by foreigners through travelogue literature and consular reports. She teaches the linguistic traditions and habits in preserving the mother tongue of immigrants and third-generation Bosnian children whose parents were born in Slovenia. She is an editor and writer for the newspaper Bošnjak. She has published articles in the newspaper Žar (PINA), Medkulturni čas (LU Koper) and science magazine Slovo (BiH). Non-formal education in the fields of cultural management, amateur journalism and Theater of the oppressed. Dijana is also the artistic director of the theatre section in KUŠD “Behar” and the Secretary of the Bosnian Cultural Association of Slovenia.
